Our Story

I’m Carla, founder of O, VET!.

What began as a search for simpler, more nourishing skincare slowly became something much bigger, a return to a slower way of living.

I wanted skincare that felt honest: products made with ingredients I understood, trusted, and could confidently use on my own family every day.

That journey led me to tallow.

For generations, animal fats were valued for their remarkable ability to nourish and protect the skin. Long before complicated ingredient lists and overflowing bathroom cabinets, people relied on simple, effective ingredients that worked in harmony with the body. Inspired by that wisdom, I began creating my own formulations, combining traditional ingredients with thoughtful modern craftsmanship.

Today, every O, VET! product is handcrafted in small batches in the Klein Karoo. Our products are made to be more than skincare; they are small daily rituals that invite you to slow down, care for yourself intentionally, and find beauty in simplicity.
